This is so beautiful, Kendall.

I love this about the resonance.

I believe that all of us, everything, vibrates at its own particular frequency, and that these songs of being, of feeling, connect and link with other vibrations that are in tune.

I believe that as well, Kay. So beautifully said. 💜

I love the sound being so tenderly received. Not turning away from the scream but staying with it, seeing if, hearing it, tenderly receiving it in a way that helps him release beautiful music for his own soul. This is such an insightful and beautiful poem. It sits quietly in me now.

I agree completely. Kendall I would love to use this in a book I am writing which is about music in the dying time. How do I message you for permission? Do you have an agent?

Kendall Lamb's avatar

Hi Helen, thank you for this request! If you message me, I’ll send you my information.

Thank you, Helen! It's so important that we allow the pain without rushing past that part. xx

Wow. So much there. Beautiful. Feelings too raw to write anything further, just yet.

Kendall Lamb's avatar

Thank you for these words, Shannon. ❤

Kendall! Wow!

The duality comes through with such resonance. As does the beauty.

And my god, the last two stanzas sing so brightly.

Thank you :)

Nothing is wasted. All of it becomes the hubris from which we create. Indeed staying with it, becoming a compassionate witness. I sense this becomes our call. A beautiful piece, Kendall. 💜💫

The hubris from which we create…. thank you, Joanie. 💜💜💜💜

I can see that river of grief and the flow of light meeting, companions slipping downward side by side, a convergence of the yin and yang of life. Such a powerful and gorgeous poem, Kendall. Thank you for bringing me to tears and also for offering resonant light and music to accompanying my grief. Blessings to you!

Kendall Lamb's avatar

So honored to offer images that accompany you in your grief, Susan. Thank you so much for staying with this poem, and for being such a powerful force of yin and yang yourself in this world.

Thr light did not flinch. Happy to find this poem this morning. When I catch up on reading after field work, I make sure not to miss any of your writing, and this is why.

Beautifully written Kendall! I trust that all life is vibration and that we resonate together, (not always within the frequency that is comfortable however, much like the scream in your words.)

Thank you for sharing this.
