Kendall, three generations here woven together with vibrantly different soul threads celebrating one another is sacred and wild, bold and holy. And just think of the beautiful souls we miss when we turn away? Such a powerful way to embrace humanity!Thank you for being you and for your voice. I’m in awe of your heart too.

I’m so often surprised that I could love you one more iota than I do….. and yet…. here we are. How I wish I could have written this letter to you. You are gifted, and treasured, and loved beyond measure….. and Finley is so blessed to have you as her mom. May we give her a legacy of love and grace to guide her through the tough times so she will always know how loved she is.

You are writing on her heart right now with your loving support. Kendall, IS such a treasure. I have no doubt this apple didn’t fall far from the tree. (Now, no need to answer, yet my mind goes to the big bow tied around herself upon her special delivery of herself.) 🙈😳🤣

Good morning from my reading nook (aka: the corner of my couch). I consumed this piece WHOLLY & FULLY inspired. I love that Finley is into Halloween and the spookier side of life. I love the heart that clearly grew directly from her Mama’s, and this letter is something I hope you can print and save in a box or envelope for her to read when she’s old enough. I believe Beth said it best here in the comments: she is blessed to have you.

The bonds we have with our littles is the most wild and awe inducing Love. Thank you for sharing a slice of that with us here. 🙏🫎
